Each participating Choral Program will have the option of designating up to 2 "Subsidiary Ensembles" for adjudicated performances of their prepared music during the first day of the AMP Nationals. Following each performance, AMP Nationals Adjudicators will give detailed, on-stage performance reviews.
Friday, April 12, 2013
Each participating Choral Program's Primary Ensemble will benefit from an adjudicated performance of their prepared music.After each performance, AMP Nationals Adjudicators will provide performance reviews.After performance reviews and following an Observational Requirement, each Primary Ensemble will go one of the COA Master Clinicians (Andre Thomas, Jerry Blackstone, Joe Miller) for a full one-hour clinic.
Day Two will also feature workshops for ALL participants. Scheduled workshops include Broadway 101 - What It Takes, XChange - A Meeting of Voices, and Vocal Master Classes with Matthew Oltman. Each workshop will repeat and run throughout the day, so that everyone will have the opportunity to attend each workshop.
An optional Acoustic Scavenger Hunt (a COA Exclusive Event) & Group Dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe will round out the day's events (Choose Thursday or Friday night).

On the Final Day, the AMP National's Master Conductor, Dr. Anton Armstrong, takes over for a spectacular Massed Choir Rehearsal and Prism Concert at the world-famous Stern Auditorium | Carnegie Hall. During the Prism Concert, each participating Primary Ensemble will have a "Spotlight Performance Opportunity"... and ALL participants will enjoy a Massed Choir Performance... complete with an antiphonal ending. It will be spectacular, once-in-a-lifetime event!
Finally, we end the program with an optional DJ Dinner Dance Cruise on the Hudson... a fantastic way to meet up with other Choral Programs from throughout the country!
